Dogs are welcome at Lapham-Patterson House, a grand Victorian historic landmark in Thomasville. This garish yellow house was built around 1885 as a winter cottage for shoe merchant C.W. Lapham of Chicago. Fido isn't allowed inside the building, but you can enjoy the architecture from the outside together. There are also a few picnic areas with tables that are dog-friendly. The fee for entry into the park is $8 for adults. Lapham-Patterson House is open Friday from 1pm to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
