This secluded park is a perfect Georgia getaway. Seven miles of hiking trails gives you plenty of opportunities to explore the cypress and tupelo trees laden with spanish moss within the park. Fishing is available for anglers at the 412-acre lake, and bird lovers will enjoy many opportunities for photography. The park welcomes dogs as long as they are on a leash no longer than 6 feet; however, they are not permitted in or around historic sites, lodges, group camps, or swimming areas. For those interested in pet friendly accommodations. cottage #4 welcomes two dogs with prior approval for an additional fee of $45 per dog per stay. Pet friendly camping options are also available.
