Over 20 miles of trails are available at Fort Yargo State Park, along with disc golf and paddle boat rentals. Two boat ramps are available. The park welcomes dogs as long as they are on a leash no longer than 6 feet; however, they are not permitted in or around historic sites, lodges, group camps, or swimming areas. For those interested in pet friendly accommodations. two pets are allowed in select cottages with prior approval for an additional fee of $45.
