Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge

The Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge offers a habitat for a number of wildlife species, and is committed to conservation and environmental education. The site features five hiking/automobile trails, waterfowl blinds, and accessible areas for those with disabilities. Dogs can explore side by side with their pet parents, provided they are kept short leashed and under their control at all times thourhout their visit.
