Harriman State Park in Idaho is pet-friendly. This 16,000 acre wildlife refuge is home to moose, elk, trumpeter swans, and a variety of other animals. Pets are not allowed on park trails, in any park buildings or yurts for most of the year, but they are allowed in the parking lots all year round. You can bring Fido to the park during the winter months on the park's Harriman Hounds Trail that goes south into the National Forest.
