Dogs are welcome at Winchester State Park. This pet-friendly park is popular among anglers wishing to hook themselves some rainbow trout. Alternatively, you can bring Fido with you on a leash to enjoy canoeing around the lake located at the center of the park. If you want to extend your stay in the area, your pooch is even invited to stay with you in the Ponderosa, Snowberry, and Tamarack Yurts, or in one of the many pet-friendly campsites. The fee for entry into the park is $5 per vehicle.
