Dogs are welcome at Kaskaskia River, one of the largest state-owned areas in Illinois that stretches more than 20,000 acres. There are 12 miles of trails to enjoy with Fido in the park and a number of picnic spots alongside the Kaskaskia River's banks. You'll also find a bunch of boat enthusiasts enjoying Baldwin Lake, 2,018-acre, man-made reservoir located in the park.
