Rice Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area

19721 N. US 24, Canton, IL, US, 61520

Rice Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area is dog-friendly. Often talked about as an outdoor wildlife observatory, this park provides a stop-over area for migrating waterfowl and the waters below provide an ideal habitat for game fish, including largemouth bass, bluegill, sunfish, crappie, channel catfish, bullhead buffalo, and carp. There are plenty of picnic spots to enjoy with great views of the water and the surrounding woods. Your pooch is welcome to join you in most areas of the park on a leash under six feet.
