The Mississippi River State Fish and Wildlife Area is dog-friendly. You are welcome to bring Fido with you to enjoy the 24,000 acres of wildlife preservation area that is located along the banks of two major rivers. You'll be greeted by stunning bluffs that tower over the river valley and provide you with awesome views in every direction. There are plenty of pretty picnic areas dotted around the park for you to enjoy as well. Dogs are welcome to join you on the trails as long as they are on a leash under six feet.
