Johnson-Sauk Trail is dog-friendly. You are welcome to bring Fido with you to explore this varied pathway that leads across meadows, through pine forests, and meanders next to rivers. There are four miles of separate trails to choose from in the park that take in varied landscape and differ in ability levels. For the more adventurous hiker, the loop around Lake Johnson is eight miles in length and great fun. Remember, your pooch must be on a leash for the duration of the visit to the park and owners should always clean up after their pet.
