Marshall State Fish and Wildlife Area is dog-friendly. You are welcome to bring your pooch with you to enjoy the ten miles of scenic Illinois River backwaters. There's a three and a half mile trail that weaves through the forests that surround the water. When it comes time to rest your paws, you can chill out at one of the pet-friendly picnic areas that overlook the water. Dog owners are reminded to keep their pet on a leash and to always clean up after them.
