Giant City State Park, home of Giant City Streets, is pet-friendly. This park is full of stunning sandstone bluffs that were formed over 12,000 years ago. Located within Shawnee National Forest, the park is home to lots of different species of wildflower and towering trees. There are numerous pet-friendly trails that you and Fido can explore, as long as they are on leash under six feet, including the Post Oak, Devil’s Standtable, Giant City, Stonefort, Indian Creek, Trillium, and Arrowwood trails. For the more adventurous hiking partners, the 12-mile Red Cedar Hiking Trail is a challenging trail that even has an overnight campsite at the halfway point.
