Dogs are welcome at Spitler Woods State Natural Area. This wooded park in Mount Zion is made up of a variety of different trees, including red oak, walnut, and maple. It's an ideal spot to take Fido on a pretty woodland walk, with plenty of trails and picnic areas throughout located near a creak that weaves through the woods. Pet owners are reminded to clean up after their pets and keep their pooch on a leash for the duration of their stay.
