Dogs are allowed to join their owners at Newton Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area. You can bring Fido with you to enjoy the crystal waters of Newton Lake, the surrounding marshlands, and the wooded areas around the lake. There are twenty-two miles of trail along the shorelines of the lake that can be wandered with pets, as long as they are on a leash under six feet. You should also keep your eyes peeled for one of the pretty picnic areas that overlook the water.
