Dogs are welcome at the Mississippi Palisades State Park. This 2,500-acre park has a rich Native American history that will transport you back in time and great views across the surrounding forests. You and Fido will discover a rugged 15-mile trail system to explore, full of interesting plants and animals. Less adventurous hikers will find an easier trail to walk at Oak Point. Pet owners should keep their pooch on a leash for the duration of their stay in the park and clean up any mess they make after them.
