Illinois Beach State Park

1 Lake Front Drive, Zion, IL, US, 60099

Illinois Beach State Park, also known as Adeline Jay Geo-Karis Illinois Beach State Park, stretches 6.5 miles along the sandy shores of Lake Michigan. This park is split into two sections that can be explored by dogs and their owners. You can go on coastal walks together along the sand, or head inland and revel in the beauty of the huge wooded areas of pine trees and black oak. There are five miles of trails to enjoy on the south side of the park, including sections of the Zion Bike Trail, a 2.2 mile loop with a graveled surface, and a multi-use loop as well. Fido is welcome as long as they are on a leash under six feet and you pick up after them. The park is open every day of the week from 8am until 8pm.
