Dogs are welcome at Mounds State Park. This popular park is constructed around the sites of ten unique earthworks constructed by the prehistoric Adena-Hopewell people. The largest is the Great Mound, which is said to have been constructed all the way back in 160 B.C. and was once used for religious ceremonies. Fido is welcome to explore these amazing landmarks with you on one of the many hiking trails dotted around the park. Mounds State Park is open every day of the week from 7am to 11pm.
