Cagles Mill Lake is pet-friendly. They welcome dogs and their owners to enjoy the first flood control reservoir in Indiana. Created from two pre-glacial bedrock ridges buried beneath ancient lake sediments of the Illinoisan glacial period, Cataract Falls are the main attraction at this park and tumble into the lake waters below. The Covered Bridge Nature Trail is another draw, a stoned trail with benches that leads to a covered bridge. Pet owners are reminded to keep their pooch on a leash for the duration of their stay and clean up any mess after them.
