Lincoln State Park

P.O. Box 216, Lincoln City, IN, US, 47552

Established in 1932, Lincoln State Park, the boyhood home of Abraham Lincoln, is pet-friendly. Lincoln State Park offers 10 miles of hiking trails around the two stunning scenic lakes. The park is 1,747-acres in size and is home to six hiking trails that vary in difficulty: the Lake Trail will take you around the south shore of the lake; the John Carter Trail will take you through the pines; the Sarah Lincoln Grigsby Trail takes you through a dry upland forest; James Gentry Trail passes through a mature forest; Mr Lincoln's Neighborhood Walk takes you on the walk that a young Abe would have taken himself; and Weber Lake Trail takes you to the lake. Dogs are welcome in the park on a leash under six feet in length. Lincoln State Park is open every day of the week from 7am to 11pm.
