Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore

Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is an expansive park offering a wealth of fun and adventurous outdoor activities. Pets are welcome at Indiana Dunes, however, there are a number of restrictions. Most of the hiking trails and parking areas are open to pets throughout the year. Pets are not allowed on any of the beaches, or at the amusement park. The amusement park does offer a secure kennel with attentive staff members, so the family doesn't have to miss out. Pets visitng Indiana Dunes must either be crated or on a leash that is no more than 6 feet long.
