Shades State Park is pet-friendly. They welcome dogs and their owners to enjoy the park in Montgomery, Parke, and Fountain Counties in Indiana. This peaceful paradise has great views from the eleven different hiking trails. The trails vary between extremely rugged pathways through ravines and uplands to easy wanders around ponds. Only you and Fido can decide what you'd prefer to attempt, but whichever you do, the views will be worth it in the end. Shades State Park is open every day of the week from 7am to 11pm.
