Located on the banks of Red Rock Reservoir, Elk Rock State Park is pet-friendly. You and Fido will discover a lovely park with a picnic area and 13 miles of multi-use trails in Knoxville, Iowa. The park is hugely diverse, 200 species of birds, 54 species of trees, 62 species of wildflowers, 43 species of fish, and 35 species of mammals call it home. Keep an eye on the weather as the trails may well be closed on certain days. Dogs are welcome at Elk Rock State Park, but must be on a leash for the duration of their stay.
