Honey Creek State Park is dog-friendly. You are welcome to bring Fido with you to enjoy the home of Iowa's largest lake, Lake Rathbun. The rolling hills that surround the lake provide an epic background for visitors to enjoy while they are walking on the five miles of multi-use trails and the Woodland Interpretive Trail. There are a couple of picnic areas that are pet-friendly too. Pet owners must keep their pooch on a leash for the duration of their visit.
