Fossil and Prairie Park Preserve and Center

The Fossil and Prairie Park Preserve and Center offers visitors a fascinating and rare experience. This is one of only three known places in the country where the public can come and collect fossils. There are 400 acres and several collecting areas to explore, as well as more than 60 acres of virgin prairie and historic beehive kilns. Dogs are allowed to tag along with you on the site grounds, but they aren't allowed in buildings.
