Fort Scott National Historic Site offers viistors a chance to learn Kansas's role in America's expansion westward. The site features a number of exhibits, educational programs, and historic buildings that are sure to intrigue and inspire. Dog lovers can bring their furry friends along to see the sights, provided they are leashed and well-behaved. Dogs are not allowed inside buildings, but there are plenty of things to do and see on the site grounds.
