Quivira National Wildlife Refuge

The Quivira National Wildlife Refuge is a sweet spot for nature lovers to explore with their pets. Named one of the 8 wonders of the state, the Refuge is dedicated to education, preservation and the health and wellness of the local flora and fauna. Here, you can see more than 300 species of birds, as well as many species of animal and marine life. Dogs are welcome to tour the site, but they must be kept on a secure leash and under your control for the duration of your trip.
