Lincoln Homestead State Park

Lincoln Homestead State Park is a fascinating place to visit, whether you're a history buff, or just curious about the famed president's life and ancestry. The site features his mother's original home and reproductions of the home where his father grew up. There is also a pleasant picnic area for a leisurely lunch. Pets are welcome to tour the site, however, they must be leashed at all times, and can only enter buildings if they are small enough to be hand-carried.
