Albert E. Sleeper State Park is dog-friendly! Leashed dogs are welcome to explore the Park as long as they are cleaned up after and leashed. The State Park is 723 acres of forest, wetlands, and sandy beaches and dunes on the Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron. Fido can roam the trails of the ancient dune forests or hit the beach on its far west end. This pet-friendly area can be accessed by taking the boardwalk. The area runs from the west boundary of the park itself to a mutt mitt dispenser and yellow post on the east boundary of the beach. Dogs are only allowed on the beach in this area.
