Located within the Shiawassee River headwaters, Highland Oaks County Park offers two and a half miles of trails for hiking alongside Fido. The Park is 302 acres of rolling hills, wetlands, and old pastures. Dogs visiting Highland Oaks must be leashed. Leashes cannot be longer than six feet, and dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and cleaned up after. Highland Oaks County Park is open year-round from approximately thirty minutes before sunrise to thirty minutes after sunset.
