Mackinac Island

Created from melting glaciers and erosion from the Great Lakes, Mackinac Island is an American National Historic Landmark, and an exceptionally beautiful natural formation. No cars are allowed getting to the island is a three-ferry journey, and getting around means walking, horseback riding and bicycling will get you from place to place here.
