On-leash pets are welcome on the trails and the beach and swimming area. Grand Mere State Park has over 1,000 acres of beautiful undeveloped woods and sand dunes. We have 985 acres of hiking trails, over 1 mile of Lake Michigan beach for sunbathing and swimming. Picnic shelter and cross-country skiing. Dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach and swimming area.
