Lyndale Farmstead Off-Leash Dog Park is one of seven dog-friendly recreation areas in the Minneapolis area. There are benches and shaded areas for humans to enjoy while pets run around the park. Before heading into the park, you can park on West 38th and West 40th streets or Bryant Avenue. Pet owners should remember that the ground of the Lyndale Farmstead Dog Park is crushed granite, which some dog's paws may be sensitive to this surface. To use the seven dog parks, you must first purchase a permit: either a daily permit for $5 per dog; or an annual permit, which is $35 for the first dog and $25 for each additional dog for Minneapolis Residents; and $60 for the first dog and $35 for each additional dog for Non-Minneapolis Residents. The off-leash dog parks are open from 6am to 10pm.
