Leashed dogs are welcome. Dogs are not allowed in the park or historic buildings or public swimming areas and beaches. The Prairie View Trail, 2.4-mile loop, showcases the natural beauty of the historic site. The trail travels through woodlands and grasslands where hikers can experience the diversity of plant and animal life found in southwest Missouri.
