Kancamagus Highway from Lincoln to Conway NH runs through the White Mountain National Forest and allows dogs on leash and under voice command on the hiking trails. Dogs also allowed at Franconia State Park under control, but not in campgrounds.
Carry in, carry out everything. $3 a day fee.
Do not leave dog in car unattended, no dogs in campgrounds.
