Hike from the lowest to highest point in Mont Vernon, NH. 5.1 miles long. Start at Zahn's Alpine Guesthouse (www.zahnsalpineguesthouse.com/) where you obtain a trail map. It will take an hour to and hour and a half to complete. You can actually drive your car for 3.5 miles of the trail as that portion of the trail is on Route 13 and Lamson Road. Your dog will walk about 1.6 miles on wooded and gravel (hard packed) trail. You may see other dogs on the Lamson Farm trails. Keep your dog on a leash as the town of Mont Vernon has a leash law.
