Fahnestock West Trail is a somewhat easy, 7.1 mile hike in Clarence Fahnestock State Park that will take about 4 hours to complete with Fido. If you are visiting this area in early June you will bear witness to the striking beauty of the mountain laurel in bloom. This beautiful hike is a favorite for canines year round with its freshwater ponds and brooks. When visiting with Fido be sure to keep him away from public use areas and on a leash no longer than 10 feet.
