Walt Whitman Trail is an easy, 4.25 mile hike that will take about 2 hours to complete with Fido. Aside from the moderate climb to the 401 foot Jaynes Hill, this hike is quite flat. Horses also frequent this park and you should watch out for them as you hike. Please note that dogs must be leashed; dogs not permitted in picnic areas.
