Bibliophiles are sure to find something to interest them in the collection of books by local authors as well as books on the history, attractions, and activities available to visitors to the area. Popular area potters contribute many delightful and unique pieces to the craft center's inventory. Visitors to the center will also find wood crafts, handwoven rugs, jewelry, quilts, paintings, jams, jellies, preserves, and honeys, rock lamps, candles, and more. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome at Appalachian Craft Center. Just keep in mind that if any object is damaged by your pup, you will have to purchase it.
