Fryingpan Mountain Trail is a moderately easy, 4 mile hike on the Blue Ridge Parkway that will take about 2 hours to complete with Fido. If you are taking advantage of the beautiful Mount Pisgah Campground, than you will want to add this trail to your plans as well. It is good to know that the parkway can be closed to motor traffic during the winter due to weather. Please note that dogs must be on a leash on Blue Ridge Parkway property, but not on the U.S. Forest Service roads.
