In 2006, Elon opened Alamance County's first dog park. This one acre enclosed dog park is a place to bring canine friends, unleash them in this fenced area and let them run, play, and socialize with other dogs as the owner is nearby to observe the play. There is fresh water for the dogs and poop bag stations for easy access and use so humans can assure the area stays clean. Benches, and picnic tables are provided. You do not have to reside in Elon to use the K-9 Corner. Please have your pet current on all vaccinations and socialized. You may also bring your canine friend for an on-leash walk on the one-mile trail in Beth Schmidt Park. Please remember to pick up after your pet.
