Sam and Winston is a small family-run business on Roanoke Island, North Carolina. The name of the store is inspired by Sheila Silver's golden retriever, Sam, whose best friend is her grandson, Winston. Sheila, the owner, thinks that there is no better symbol of her simple, timeless ideals than a boy and his dog. Fido might bump into Sam while you look through the fine art, home, and living items. Sam and Winston is open year-round, Monday through Saturday 10am to 6pm.
