Island Creek Forest Walk is an easy, 0.5 mile hike in Croatan National Forest that will take about 30 minutes to complete with Fido. The Croatan National Forest offers multiple opportunities for recreation including swimming, boating, fishing, and camping. This trail is well shaded, but can still get pretty warm and mosquito ridden in the summer. Please note that dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet. Hunting allowed.
