Leashed dogs can join you as you explore parts of Slate Run Metro Park. The Park features a variety of habitats, ranging from grasslands to wetlands, meadows, and forested areas. Pets on leashes no longer than six feet are permitted in picnic areas, on roadways, and on the Covered Bridge Trail, Lake Trail, and Shagbark Trail, which they must walk the Covered Bridge Trail to access. Slate Run Metro Park is open from 6:30am to dark.
