Matthieu Lakes and Collier Cone Trail is a moderately easy, 14.4 mile hike in Three Sisters Wilderness that will take about 8 hours or overnight to complete with Fido. One of the most scenic hikes in Oregon's High Cascades, you will enjoy the splendor of the lakes, lava flows, and a glacier carved valley. The trail is well maintained and marked, with only one section over the lava flow that may be rough on a tender dog's feet. Please note that Northwest Forest Pass required; register for wilderness entry. Dogs must be leashed. Trail is accessible from May through November.
