One of the most unique tourist attractions on the Oregon Coast, the Prehistoric Gardens is great for young and old alike. Just 12 miles south of Port Orford lies an untouched prehistoric garden complete with 23 life size dinosaurs set amongst a lush Oregon rainforest. The self-guided tour allows you to casually stroll along the path and discover what the Earth was like millions of years ago. It is virtually a land of long ago.
They are great about bringing dogs along the path, as long as you bring your own baggie to pick up after Fido! The dogs love it and really respond to the tour. It is a lot of fun!!
