Dogs are welcome to join you at the Crooked Wild and Scenic River. The area is steeped in history that dates back to Native Americans and later on, the pioneer settlers. One of the most popular things to do is the 2.6 mile round trip hike to Chimney Rock that leads to expansive views of the Crooked River Canyon and Cascades. You can visit the area for a day or spend up to two weeks at one of the many campsites that allows dogs along the river, which is the perfect place for Fido to have a dip.
