Smith Rock State Park is dog-friendly! Fido can explore its six-hundred-and-fifty-acres but must be on a leash no longer than six feet at all times, and owners must clean up after their pet. Clean-up bags and a garbage can are located right before the bridge. Climbers and slackliners bringing dogs to a route or line must follow special rules, which can be found on Smith Rock's official website.
Smith Rock State Park is open year-round from dusk until dawn, and quiet hours in the campground are between 10pm and 7am. Dog owners can park in designated areas only, with $5 day use permits.
