Opened in June, 2015, the W. Leroy Lewis Dog Park, previously Middle Smithfield Township Dog Park, is conveniently located right off of Route 209, with a large sign visible from the road. This beautiful, large park has separate sections for large and small dogs, a gravel walking path around the outside of the off-leash areas, shade trees, seating and 6' tall fences. A water spigot is located in the parking lot to provide water for the dogs. In the winter, the Dog Park is home to the Township’s temporary Ice Rink for skating.
