Small, well-behaved dogs are welcome aboard Charleston Schooner Pride's two-hour sails as long as they are leashed or remain in a carrier. There are no set courses on the boat. She sails with the winds and tides, so every cruise is unique. There will be some narration and the crew is always willing to point out the historic sites and wildlife in the harbor. Passengers are welcome to raise and trim the sails with the crew or just sit back and enjoy. Guests may bring aboard a picnic lunch. However, by law, no beverages may be brought on board. Sodas, water, beer, wine, and light snacks are available for purchase. Public sails depart daily. Advance purchase strongly recommended as sails often sell out in advance. NOTE: A cannon shot will be fired during the trip, so it's highly recommended any dog strongly bothered by loud noises not be brought aboard.
