Dimple Dell Nature Park

10400 S 1300 E, Sandy, UT, US, 84094

Dimple Dell is a natural ravine that runs from Sandy, Utah and heads almost due east up into the mountains. There are numerous hiking, biking and horseback riding trails that crisscross the ravine. In early spring and into early summer there is a river that runs at the bottom. The water can run very fast and be extremely cold. You must keep your dogs leashed at all times, but many locals disregard this ordinance and pay hefty fines when they get caught. The trails are not difficult once you have descended into (and out of) the ravine. The trails are well maintained and there is quite a bit of natural wildlife. You must bring in your own waste bags and carry them out as well. Lots of shade in summer.
